Instant messaging has become an increasingly popular way to send and receive messages in the Bitcoin world, with many users turning to the platform to send or receive messages without having to use the full suite of services available on most desktop and mobile platforms.
The problem, however, is that many of the applications offered on BitcoinTalk and other Bitcoin forums don’t offer a full set of features and have their own built-in limitations.
One such application, called Instant Messages Litecoin, comes with a number of limitations that can make it difficult for users to utilize the service.
Users of Instant Message Litecoin cannot use the following features:Chat messages.
The ability to send messages in any language is limited to text messages only.
Messages sent through the messaging app require the recipient to be a verified user of the app.
Messes that contain personal information are blocked and cannot be sent.
Messaging requires an additional transaction fee for each message sent.
The app does not have a built-out chat system, and users can’t send messages to each other in-person.
Users must use the app to send instant messages to other users.
The Litecoin developers also have a number other restrictions.
The application cannot be used to send an email, post to a forum, or send or retrieve payments.
It also does not support sending or receiving messages directly from the Bitcoin network.
Users cannot view messages on other platforms.
Users can’t view messages sent through other apps or third-party services.
The service is limited in the amount of messages that can be sent to each address.
Messages can only be sent for a certain amount of time.
Message expiration is set to 24 hours.
The developers of the Litecoin app, which is available for iOS and Android, released an update last week that added the ability to add and edit messages.
Users must first create a new Litecoin address and add it to the message list.
The updated app now allows users to create a list of their Litecoin addresses to be sent messages.
Users can view messages for other users that are in the same address.
The following messages can be added or edited by a user:Messages that contain a public key are automatically verified, and can only contain valid signatures from the user’s private key.
The public key can only have a maximum of 30 characters.
Messengers with a public or private key can be read from or written to, and both can have an encrypted private key attached.
Messenger messages can only appear on a BitcoinTalk forum.
Messaged messages sent over a forum will not appear on the BitcoinTalk site.
Messings that contain the message “LTC/USD” will be sent from the address “1QZp2Wj8bQ8B9JqfH7VZ9y3P3g2HjMxSqmZHwHpWVJtPQjvk4bvhxPXyHrLf7gKw9bWz1fz6e7kVx” to the address 1QZv5pfWzvhVVVy4Zj3fhf9d8BfKgXn8yLgX5pJm4WzZwZxwMjKm8LzM5o4T3ZsLm7VlKf4WjKwYhVxLm6ZTkYW5kYxLzYzV9KwK8JpZnKf3YW4″ to a BitcoinAddress, with the maximum length of message to be transmitted to be 1,000,000 messages.
The message can be deleted and all the private keys deleted.
Messagers that contain public or public keys cannot be edited.
The sender and recipient cannot see each other’s message or the amount that is sent.
If the sender has a public address, the recipient can only see the sender’s address on the public address.
If the sender does not use a public bitcoin address, messages sent to the recipient’s address will be delivered to a public BitcoinAddress instead.
The address that contains the private key of the sender and the public key of a recipient cannot be found on the blockchain.
The recipient must be a registered user of a BitcoinPayment site to send the message.
The address can be found in a wallet created by a payment site.
The maximum amount that can appear on one message can only exceed 0.000001 LTC (about $0.08) per message.
Messies sent to addresses without a public public address can only send a maximum amount of 1,500 messages per day.
Messers that contain private keys cannot send messages for a maximum time of 48 hours.
